~Chapter 2~
It was Friday they had experienced the magical "Cardcaptor Transformation." It was May 1- exactly one month from summer vacation. The five of them were eager for the summer vacation to grow nearer to them so they can once again relax.
They were shocked to hear that they were going to have a foreign exchange student at this time of the year. After their teacher, Mrs. Allison, announced that, she introduced the new student to the class.
"Class please welcome Li Showron from Hong Kong,"Mrs. Allen said.
"Huh?!"Amy thought.
"Welcome to 4th grade, Li,"Mrs. Allison told Li. "Will you be attending school next year here?"
"Uh..yes ma'am,"Li answered.
"Psst! Nathan, remember what Kero said?"Amy whispered to Nathan.
"Kero said a lot of things," Nathan replied.
"Leave it to Nathan and his sarcasm.."Katie said in her mind shaking her head from left to right in disappointment.
"He said that there was a kid named Li Showron that was also a Cardcaptor!"Sakura said as she entered the conversation.
"Right,"Katie said as she, too, joined the conversation.
The four of them and Brian(~ because he was listening or sould I say eavesdropping) stared at Li with suspisous looks on their faces.
Lunch came and then recess. The five of them were talking were talking at a table.
"It's weird how Madison got sick over the weekend,"Sakura said. "Let's go to her house after school to see how she's doing and to drop off our presents."
"All right,"They all agreed.
(The other three had also bought presents for Madison.)
"Hey there's that Li kid,"Brian said.
Li was standing by himself with his index and middle fingers up to his face while his other finders on that hand were clecnched together. His eyes were shut and they could tell he was concentrating on something.
"You don't suppose he's doing something with oh let's say... magic or I don't know... Clow Cards?"Katies asked sarcastically.
"Probably. How many kids do you see doing something even similar to what he's doing?"Brian replied not catching a hint of her sarcasm in the question.
Nathan laughed slightly at Brian.
"Poor kid. No one wants to hang around with him.."Sakura thought.
"Hey why don't we try to be friends with him?"Sakura suggested.
"I don't know..He doesn't seem the friendly type,"Nathan said.
"Come on let's go,"Amy insisted.
They all went to towards Li.
"Hi!"Katie said in a friendly tone."Welcome to our school!"
Li just stared at Katie.
"Uh, Li? Is something the matter?"Amy asked.
"Nothing at all,"Li said and left.
"So much for friendly..."Nathan said. "I told you guys.
"Shut up, Nathan,"Amy said.
